This was a typical 'head up north' day including the never-ending stop at Home Depot and Mennard's for fencing and misc. The last few years have been way over-booked. That's probably not the correct expression since most of 2011 and 2012 was committed to my mother's last months. We have heaps of 'senior relatives' everywhere, in the garage, in the house and 'up north.' I've probably forgotten where and what most of is.
This is a good indication of how far behind we are. These are boat licenses which are good for three years. They've been sitting on the table. The boats are in storage or turned upside down making great mouse havens. I won't have to look for the registration cards now to re-new. It's simpler just to bring in the old license.
Looking forward is difficult if you are bogged down by your past. It might just be time to dispose of boats, legacy employment thoughts and ideas that are grounded in the past. The focus is creativity and innovation.
